He needs a standard ascii text editor for several assignments - cut HTML source code from my web site and paste it into a text editor and modify it and save it as standard ascii text with an html extension. I prefer freeware since I don't want students to have to spend even more money for this summer long course. If there's already a standard editor on the system that's suitable for this process (not as complex as vi or emacs) I'd also appreciate that.
